Scotiabank, General Accident hunt more wins
-
SCOTIABANK ‘A’ and General Accident will be going for their fourth-straight as the 2015 Business House Netball Association (BHNA) Divisional Leagues continue this afternoon at the Leila Robinson Courts, beginning at 3:00.
Defending champions Scotiabank ‘A’ and Open League champions General Accident are joint leaders in the Senior League with nine points each from three starts.
Scotiabank ‘A’ will be facing Grace Kennedy at 5:30, while General Accident go up against Bank of Jamaica (BOJ) scheduled to start at 7:00.
The Winston Nevers-coached bankers should be able to get past GraceKennedy as they have won two games and lost the other from three outings. Goal-shooter Marsha Murphy-Dawkins and goal attack Tennisha Bernard should outscore their opponents and win convincingly.
Meanwhile, the Oberon Pitterson-coached General Accident insurance aggregation are expected to have things their own way against Bank of Jamaica, who have lost their two matches so far.
Against an experienced team as General Accident, BOJ will certainly have a lot of work to do in preventing the Open League champions from defeating them.
In another Senior League encounter, National Housing Trust (NHT) ‘A’ will face Appliance Traders Limited (ATL) at 7:00. NHT have won two games and lost two, while ATL have won one and lost one from two outings.
The other matches scheduled this afternoon are: Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica (PCJ) vs Housing Agency of Jamaica (HAJ), Norman Manley International Airport (NMIA) vs Continental Baking Company (CBC) at 3:00.
At 4:15, FLOW-LIME vs HEART Trust/NTA; Urban Development Corporation (UDC) vs National Housing Trust (NHT) “B”; XEROX vs Jamaica Public Service (JPS). Victoria Mutual Building Society (VMBS) Group vs Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS) Group at 5:30; Seprod vs Aeronautical Communications/Jamaica Civil Aviation Association (JCAA) at 7:00.
