O’ Christmas Tree. T’is the season to be jolly
-
Customers of the General Accident (GenAc) Insurance enjoyed an extra treat for the 2019 Christmas Season when they were fêted to Customer Appreciation Day on Friday, December 13.
GenAc rang in the season with the fanfare of our inaugural Outdoor Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.
The parking lot of 58 Half-Way-Tree Road was transformed by our team members for their merriment our valued customers.
A White-Cedar Christmas tree specially ordered through the Jamaica’s Forestry Department from Litchfield Farms in Trelawny stood tall in the parking lot. The seven-foot tree was swathed in ribbons, trinkets and lights by the creative GenAc staff and topped with a one-of-a-kind Christmas ornament specially designed by the folks at the Fontana Pharmacy in Barbican.
The festivities began with carolling staff members dressed in Santa hats, ringing out popular Christmas songs and hymns.
Both passersby and customers joined in the singing around the tree as services were paused for a short time to light up the evening.
Christmas cheer was also shared with the specially invited children from the Maxfield Park Children’s Home who were treated with provided gifts, treats, cake and ice cream.
The staff and especially the customers enjoyed the evening of cheer.
