Every year the policyholders of general insurance giant, General Accident and leading public passenger vehicle (PPV) insurance provider, AutoSmart are feted to an exciting day of discounts, activities and giveaways to mark their annual customer appreciation day.
This year, on December 8, 2023, the 58 Half Way Tree head office came alive with music from Fyah 105 and lively hosting by Jenny Jenny.
General Accident customer Jermaine Hines relished the day’s activities. “General Accident is the only insurer I’ve ever been with and I have four cars insured with them,” Hines said.
Nigel Cox, another longstanding customer, was present to enjoy the festivities along with his family. Cox’s journey with GenAc started with a recommendation.
“You know a friend recommended them [GenAc] to me and I haven’t looked back,” Cox shared.
“I like the customer service, I like getting a text and call before my insurance expires to remind me, that’s real business. I plan to change my car next year and I’m coming right back here to insure it,” he added.
The Customer Service Appreciation event got underway at 10 am and continued until 5 pm. Every customer in attendance had an opportunity to receive a 10% discount on their renewal premiums as well as a 10% discount on online policy renewals.

The General Accident and AutoSmart Customer Appreciation Days were hosted in Montego Bay and Kingston on December 6, 2023 and December 8, 2023, respectively.
